Wilder Deitz Lesson Studio Requirements

Equipment

• A binder

• An egg timer (or stopwatch- not a “smart” device)

• A small notebook (mine is a small black Moleskine) for recording repertoire

Practice Time

• Three hours budgeted per week (not including lesson time)

• All distractions (especially devices) away

Routine

• Warm up with the Roots Progression every time you begin practice

• Focus on three kinds of project: “Ought To,” “Have To,” and “Want To”

• There may be additional listening homework

• Record all questions, observations, things you want to know more about- write it all down and bring it with to lesson
